A Master of Marketing... and Master of Training
Gino Niccoli grew up in Southern California as the the son of a successful salesman. So you could say that
sales was 'in his blood'. However, after a some early success as a writer, Life and Casualty Insurance salesman and
sales trainer, Gino decided that the "corporate" life wasn't for him.
The Entrepreneur
With his background in sales, his knowledge of how to use the telephone as a marketing tool, his understanding of
direct marketing and direct mail campaigns, Gino set out to take on the world of network marketing and home-based business
opportunities.
Even with his skills and experience, Gino failed again and again.
His failure was not from lack of effort or knowledge, but from simply accepting the false belief that network
marketing is different from traditional businesses.
Gino made a critical mistake...he made use of typical network marketing advertising and marketing techniques. He
approached his family and friends, practiced the 3 foot rule, put out thousands of flyers and went to the mall to recruit
distributers. And as a result he learned what most who try these same techniques learn over and over
again...they do not produce good results for most network marketers.
Not one to give up easily and knowing that wearing a suit was out of the question, Gino kept plugging away. He continued
to study the art and science of marketing and eventually came to understand what makes a consumer buy.
Trial and Discovery Lead to Success
During this period of trial and discovery Gino developed a 5 step system to define the components of any
transaction and a 6 step system for overcoming and handling objections. These systems are now
the cornerstones of the education and training taught to Dream Team students.
Gino began to experience unbelieveable success.
By the mid 90's Gino had become a much sought after sales and marketing trainer. He traveled the country opening
marketing centers, running centers himself, and training thousands of people in the systems he had mastered.
The traveling marketer settles down
In 1996 Gino married the love of his life, Sherri. They settled in Arizona where Gino decided to give home-based
business another try. From a desk in his bedroom Gino grew a company from nothing to grossing 3.5 million in less than 18 months.
What was different for Gino this time? Simple. Gino didn't rely on marketing strategies that fail over and over
again. This time Gino employed the tools and techniques he learned worked so well outside of network marketing.
Gino figured correctly that "good marketing is good marketing"... it works to market cars,
insurance, or even "typical" network marketing products and services.
Gino was now using the marketing skills and techniques he had mastered and was applying them to several ventures at the
same time.
He built a call center that generated more than $10 million dollars in less than a year and joined an
MLM where he attracted over 700 clients in less than 30 days!
Gino even learned to apply his techniques to the world of infomercials. He created and was featured in
an infomercial project that reached millions of consumers nationwide, offering to help them eliminate credit card debt.
The Dream Team is Formed
In 2002 Gino met Terry Duff and by the spring of 2003 they started the Dream Team. What's interesting to note is that these two marketing masters
created the Dream Team as a grand experiment. They could have pumped a lot of money into it to attract their target market
but instead they decided to build it the way a new marketer needs to build any home-based business...inexpensively.
Gino and Terry purchased some "cheap leads", developed a prospecting script and dialed the
phone.
Using these methods which are available and accessible to every network marketer they were able to generate more than $1
million dollars in their first year and they have grown every year since.
Today, the company they created, On Stage Marketing, LLC operates several enterprises including network
marketing, direct marketing, retail and of course... the education and training of network marketers and home-based business owners.
They have proven the techniques which they've mastered and teach others to master work in just about any industry and
they've proven that they can show anyone how to be successful using the phone, the Internet and ad copy, both online and offline.
