Mistake #1: Marketing to Your Friends and Family

Most network marketers are told to do this right from the
beginning. Companies and the "big dogs" in your company love
teaching this technique.

Why?

Because if you have have 100,000 or more reps under you and
everyone does this then you can really keep your business growing.
Think about the exposure that's generated when you have that
many people under you making a list of 100, 200 or even 300 people.
 
That's a lot of exposure!

They're playing the averages. Most associates will only bring
in 2-3 reps in their lifetime with the company. Of course,
those numbers won't work too well for you...the new rep just
starting out...but it will work just fine for those who
already have a massive downline.

My advice is to leave your friends and family alone.
Don't try to market your products or opportunity to
them.

Instead, learn real prospecting techniques that will have you
speaking to people who are already interested in what you're
marketing.

Now...wouldn't that be better than having to market to your
friends and family?
